My mentor

Today, I did visit a good friend of mine, like an older sister that always guides me and become mentor how to live a good life here in Australia. Even though we're only 20 minutes drive away, we hardly see each other, but in our heart we are great friends indeed.  She is working and managing their own Pasta Shop family business for 7 days a week and was already living in Australia more than 20 years.  So she has more life experiences than me and so I follow most of her advice when I need them most.

So today is another lovely day to enjoy being with her, as it's my day off and no commitment to avoid a show up at her shop.  It was very busy so I give her a hand serving customers because she was by herself.  I also enjoy having a meal of beef cannelloni with garlic break and coffee.  We had our never ending chat and usual laughs and giggles to share.  The day was ended when the shop was about to close, I feel like I have 4 hours shift in the shop (lol). I had take away pasta for hubby his favourite beef lasagne and ravioli pasta.

Now, I'm just warming myself in bed while browsing moog minitaur online.

Chappie

It's weekend, so it's movie night for us. Hubby and I like to watch  science and fiction movies especially those directed by Neill Blomkamp.  Some of the movies directed by him was District 9 and Elysium.

And tonight's movie was Chappie.  It's about a mechanized police force patrols the streets and deals with lawbreakers, but the people are fighting back. When one police droid is stolen and given new programming, he acquires the ability to feel and think for himself. While the robot, named Chappie, more puzzles out human behavior, the authorities begin to see him as a danger to mankind and order, they will stop at nothing to ensure that Chappie is the last of his kind.

It's a nice movie to watch with,  there's some lesson I've learned, that a child first learn from parents so whatever they teach it may either good or bad, the child acquire and follow it. Like what happen to Chappie that was not taught properly but in the end still he became a good one.  It's funny to think how robot can feel, think and act like human, the last bit I really like is when he saves the maker (Deon) using the Moose helmet connected to many cables ( 5 pin dmx cable) and saves his life by successfully transferring the consciousness to other robot body. And while Chappie was the target of police patrol Deon do the same to him by transferring his consciousness to the other body so he will not be identified as the danger to mankind if he use different body.

Have you watch it before? If not it's worth watching and it can melt your heart too.
