Car Hunting

Last Saturday, hubby and I went around on Adelaide car yard for a car hunting and looking for the comparison of different cars that was on my selection.  We’ve spent half day looking around and lucky my hubby was patiently there for me even though he wants to give up or say enough for the day.  But there he is, just following me wandering around the car yard.  I already have idea and I just keep in my mind what car I really like it’s just now I’m still giving time to decide because on one manufacturer they don’t have the color I like and the other one has color but it’s a bit expensive to what my budget can afford.  We’ve been to Mazda, Toyota, Kia, Holden and some car dealer for an inquiry. I almost bite to get the Toyota Yaris as they have special offer which is very affordable for weekly payment but if you total the amount of car was so expensive. So I said, I'll think about it.

Today I also done a visit to Hyundai, I've inquired Getz model and regarding financing loan interest per annum, the term of loan and deposit, they have low interest compare to most dealer I've inquired. Now I have knowledge of how much I’m going to spend in buying a car. Hopefully not later than October I can get a new or demo or even a low kilometre mileage run of the car.  I don’t also want to be an impulse buyer and later on I will just regret or I won't be happy of what I got.  For now what I do is searching online on some new updates on carsguide.com website just in case there are some nice offer car for sale.

Sticker Off

Today, I took my hazard perception test for an upgrade on P2 driver’s licence on Mitcham Motor Registration office. I was lucky to pass the test on just a first take, unlike before when I took the test for P1 unfortunately I repeat the test for 3 times and was passed, what a shame lol.  I just don’t know how to perfect the test for give way illustration.

Now, I was happy being a P2 licence holder I can take off the P plate sticker on my car.  I won’t be chased by police on some strange nights if I get lucky.lol

Hopefully in six months, if no demerits on my driving record, I’ll be a fully licence driver...I'm excited and can't wait for that.

Helpful tips not to lose your provisional license

While preparing an online practice on Hazard Perception Test for a P2 licence, I came along to read some useful articles and rules apply to a Provisional Licence driver.  Today, I've learned a lot from reading most of the necessary and common mistake or restriction often a P plate driver does or I do sometimes. I know talking on the phone while driving is not allowed but I don't realized even hands free or bluetooth is just the same which I did once in a while, an honest mistake only. I'm lucky I don't get caught by a police in action, in just a second I'll lose my licence, fine and demerit points, I don't like it to happen of course.  By reading and watching this video helps me to be careful in driving so now I will avoid talking on phone even how important it is on a bluetooth as well as I won't forget my driver's license if I'm going out for a drive. Those are the common mistake I did recently, in the future or start tomorrow I'll do my best to fully follow the rules.

Here is a video for safe driving and avoid demerit points on your driver licence. I hope this will help on your driving safety and avoid keeping your licence at stake.

Hazard Perception Test Practice Online for P2 license

At work during my lunch break in the kitchen room, there were a few staff members exchanging conversation  including myself. One staff member was sharing about how happy she was to become a full license driver.  It was the topic which reminds me of my present driver license status now. I’m still on P1 now for almost 2 years in my driving experience, I better need to take the test very soon for P2.  I took for granted of the chance last year when I become 1 year in my driving to get a license for P2 which has a minimum of 6 months then you become a full license if no demerit points.

I knew and someone told me before that after a year of my P1 I should get a Hazard Perception Test (HPT) a computer driving skills test you need to take and pass in order to have a P2 license. But with  my laziness I almost forget about it, I regret for 10 months now how I've wasted the time of not getting the test. I just blame myself for not paying attention on little things but those are the things that matters sometimes. If I only take after a year while on P1 and pass the test of P2 I think I’m full license now. Being a full license driver has an advantage and has qualification on certain condition that a P plater can’t do while driving especially on alcohol. Or if a car has P plate sticker it was usually the target of police as most P plate driver were known and I've heard they always drive on maximum speed and get drunk which cause accident or even death. I had experienced it before even I don't drink I was pulled over by police as they were thinking I'm a drink driver but lucky I obey the rules.

Anyway, no more drama for me. After the conversation I've decided to get HPT for P2 license these Friday.  Today, after I had finished my work it was on my mind when I get home to do some research if there is an online practice for HPT, it will make easier to take the test if I know some tips.  I search on googles and I was brought to some helpful site (http://mylicence.sa.gov.au/hpt) which directs me to an online HPT practice, I was lucky to find online. I did practice a few times and it’s not too hard, I just hope and pray I’ll pass the actual test on Friday.

Goodluck in taking my P2 license....

Depression attack

Have you ever experience a day when everything is alright as in a perfect moment to enjoy the day but you yourself can’t understand the feeling as if there is something wrong? That’s what happened to me this morning, I don’t know why. It’s like a depression attack to me again, I don’t want this kind of feeling. I suddenly feel sad and start to worry of something, negative thoughts is on my mind, not very good.  Please go away and don’t interfere on my peaceful mind. I  try to divert myself to something that will keep me busy and feel good.  I did iron some clothes while listening to music, it was a nice relief.  But you know sometimes trying to escape from worry or negative feeling the more I keep on thinking about it.

What’s going on with me? Hmmm it will only vanish very soon, I can handle it baby…I’m finished ironing and some cleaning inside the house.  I go out to look for hubby in the backyard, he was fiddling his car, I told him if he’s done with it we will go out for a short spin or eat somewhere. I even told him I was bored or feel sad which he sometimes notice I'm like that.  So we did go out for a short while, we buy something on electronic shop, window shopping and we ate our early dinner in the mall food court.  It’s a good relaxation and worry free having that short drive.

Now we’re backed home and were planning for an hour nap. Hopefully after waking up we will watch blu-ray movie in the evening.
